Bottom Panel

I found using the partially complete jig a useful place to manage the large scarfed panel - this before I had fitted each of the risers to the cross-members.  Having completed the scarfing and cutting out of the bottom panel I added the risers and finished off the jig, then got on with attaching the bottom and the keelson.

1. The risers were bevelled where the bottom panel would be sitting at an angle and then sanded to remove any 'hard' corners.

2. At last I have something that looks boat shaped as the bottom panel is secured to the jig and the keelson epoxied.
