I've had an urge to have a go at building a boat for some time.  In an effort to stem my enthusiasm my wife bought a book, "The Cradle Boat Book" some 5 years ago and so I started building this strip planked cradle for my son Tom who was born shortly after it was completed.

It may hav been smaller but the build process was pretty much the same.
